At its core, brand development is about distilling a large, complex message into a simple, powerful package. Every detail matters, and it takes a discerning eye to create a brand that is not only memorable but also a true reflection of the entity it represents. For over 15 years, THOR has been perfecting the art of brand development, crafting unique, creative identities for clients who seek something beyond the ordinary.

THOR has a strong presence in the highly competitive Manhattan branding market, where we’ve honed our skills and built a reputation for excellence. One of our most challenging—and rewarding—projects was with the boutique Leon Hotel. The hotel had recently rebranded with an NYC design firm, only to discover that their new brand was a direct infringement on an existing trademark. In a desperate situation, the hotel turned to THOR, having heard about our exceptional work and personal touch.

Over the course of just two weeks, we started from scratch, designing numerous brand options before refining them into a single, sleek, and modern logo treatment. This logo formed the foundation for a vibrant brand identity that we applied across every aspect of the hotel experience. From key cards to business cards, stationery to menus, signage, and even stone carvings on the building, we ensured that every touchpoint reflected the hotel’s new identity. The project was a resounding success, and we helped the Leon Hotel not only recover from a potentially disastrous situation but also emerge with a bold, new brand identity that truly resonated with its audience.

Another exciting project was our collaboration with Citiva, an upscale medicinal marijuana brand based in Manhattan. This engagement pushed the boundaries of traditional brand development into the fiercely competitive retail market. Citiva sought to position itself as a premium brand, drawing inspiration from the fashion and luxury industries. THOR’s work with Citiva included creating a full suite of product packaging, apparel, and all the elements needed for a standout retail store. As with all our brand clients, we focused on differentiation—creating a look that was entirely unique, elevating the products and reflecting the premium nature of the brand.

In addition to these high-profile projects, THOR has developed custom brands for a wide range of clients, from tech startups to nonprofit organizations and corporate initiatives. Our expertise allows us to tailor each brand to the unique needs of the client, ensuring a standout presence in their respective industries.

We also believe in supporting small businesses, which is why we occasionally take on pro bono work for friends and local entrepreneurs. One such example is our logo design for Lost and Found Pizza, a small startup in West Virginia. The logo not only helped the business establish a strong visual identity but also enabled them to create custom signage, menus, and a website. As the business grew, the brand’s presence allowed them to generate much-needed revenue through the sale of branded merchandise, such as hats, shirts, hoodies, and keychains. THOR’s design played a key role in helping this small business thrive and get its feet off the ground.

In everything we do—from brand development and web design to technical consulting—THOR brings 100% originality, tailoring our approach to meet your unique needs. How can THOR help elevate your organization?
